You will always find the latest versions of Legantoo for Windows in the download area of the project homepage. Select here between the installable and the portable version. Please note that the portable version is a ZIP archive, while the installer is provided as an EXE application file. Both versions are also available in 32-bit or 64-bit versions, depending on your operating system.
Download the required Legantoo EXE file to your computer. You can find the Legantoo installation file in the folder you selected when downloading. Now click on the setup file. The Windows security prompt opens. Navigate to the Yes button in the User Account Query window.
This opens the first installation window of Legantoo. Click on the button „Next“ to start the installation.
Now the window for selecting the directory in which Legantoo should be installed opens. By default, the folder „Programs (x86)“ or „Programs“ is specified here depending on the version. Click on the „Next“ button to continue.
In the following window you have the possibility to specify the entry in the start menu. Legantoo predefines the folder name „Legantoo“. Choose another entry or keep the default name. Click „Next“ again.
Now a window opens in which you can decide if a shortcut should be created on the desktop. By default, this option is enabled. Click on the „Next“ button again.
Now the last installation window of Legantoo appears. Finally, you have the opportunity to check your settings. If you want to change something, click on the „Back“ button. With „Cancel“ you can leave the installation program without Legantoo making changes to your system. If everything is listed to your satisfaction, then click on „Next“ and start the installation process.
Legantoo will now be installed on your hard disk at the default destination. A message informs about the successful completion of the process. In this window, you can then decide whether the program should be started immediately after clicking the „Finish“ button. By default, the feature is enabled. The installation is complete.
After the successful download, the Legantoo archive file with the extension .zip is now in the selected folder. Extract the ZIP file either with the on-board tools of Windows or with an external unpacking program such as „WinZip“ or „7Zip“.
You will then find a folder named Legantoo, which you will now open. Then use the arrow keys to navigate to the program file „Legantoo.exe“ and activate it to start Legantoo.
