Legantoo has a sleep mode. You can set this to a certain amount of time to automatically stop playback of a Legantoo-playing medium after a specified time.
The timer is not dependent on activities in the program. This means that you can open another book without deleting the timer.
How to proceed to use the sleep mode:
Press the VoiceOver + M keys to open the menu. Navigate with the right arrow key to the main menu item „Tools“. Then press the down arrow once to the menu item „Sleep mode“. Here you will find a submenu that you can open by pressing the right arrow key.
This submenu contains the entries for the time setting and for switching the sleep mode on and off. Legitoo offers four times at 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes to set the timer. If you select one of these preset times, the sleep mode will automatically switch on and the playback will end after the set time.
Please note that while the sleep mode stops playing the media, it does not close Legantoo itself or shutting down the computer.
But it is also possible to set your own desired time for the end of the playback in addition to the four times specified by Legantoo. To do this, search for the menu item „Other time“ in the submenu of the sleep mode and press the ENTER key.
It opens a window with the current time, which you can customize to your liking. You'll find a drop-down list for setting the time you need to interact with. Use the VoiceOver keys + left and right arrow to switch from hours to minutes and seconds. Use the VoiceOver keys + up and down arrows to set the respective value. Then stop interaction with this drop-down list. To confirm, use VoiceOver + right arrow key to navigate to the OK button and press VoiceOver + spacebar.
Please note that Legantoo takes over the time of your computer. If this is not set correctly, the timer you set will also be incorrect.
If you would like to delete or end the timer in advance, navigate on the menu item „Sleep mode“ with the right arrow key to the submenu and press the ENTER key on the menu item with the term „Off“. This ends the timer and Legantoo stops playback automatically.
Please note that the menu item „Off“ is greyed out and therefore not available if you have not set a timer.
