Since the Legantoo version 1.8.1 you have the opportunity to listen to internet radio. You can import preset or custom radio stations into the library in the Internet radio category. To play a radio station over the Internet, you need an URL that represents the address for the radio stream. For example, an URL for receiving a radio broadcast online is http://stream.104.6rtl.com/rtl-live/mp3-192, as with the 104 RTL stream address. How to proceed in order to import, play or delete radio stations is explained in this help text.
First of all, you have to look for the main category „internet radio“ in the media library. Legantoo already has some URLs for radio stations. You can find them by pressing the VoiceOver + M keys in the main menu „File“. Navigate with the arrow key down to the menu item „Import“. Press the right arrow once and open the submenu. Navigate to the submenu item „Internet radio“ and press the Enter key. You are now in the list of radio stations that are subdivided by country. If you are on the desired country from which you would like to import a radio station, press the right arrow and open the submenu with the individual station names. Use the arrow keys up and down to navigate through the station list, which is arranged alphabetically. If you are standing on the desired station, press the Enter key and the station will be imported into the library in the category „Internet radio“. Alternatively, you can use the VoiceOver + arrow keys to navigate to the OK button and press the VoiceOver + spacebar to import the station.
To import your own radio station into Legantoo that is not listed in the default list, first navigate to the main category „Internet radio“ in the library. Now open the menu with the VoiceOver + M keys and search in the main menu „File“ the menu item „Import“. Use the right arrow key to open the submenu and navigate to the submenu item „Internet radio“. In the opening window you are now in the list of countries of the given radio stations. Navigate with the VoiceOver + right arrow key and you are in the input field where you can enter the station name. Another press of the shortcut VoiceOver + right arrow takes you to the input field for the URL of your radio station, which you can find on the Internet. Enter the URL or copy it from the clipboard here. Use the VoiceOver + right arrow key to navigate to the OK button. Press the VoiceOver + spacebar to save the URL. You can now find your radio station in the main category „Internet radio“, where you can start it with the Enter key.
You can also delete imported radio stations from the main category „Internet radio“ in the library. To do this, look for the station you want to remove. Press the Backspace key on your keyboard, and a pop-up will open asking if you just want to delete the link. To do this, check the box. You can make the setting using the VoiceOver + spacebar shortcut. Use the VoiceOver + right arrow key to navigate to the OK button and press the VoiceOver + spacebar to confirm. Now the radio station is no longer in your library.
