Legantoo has a sleep mode. You can set this to a certain amount of time to automatically stop playback of a Legantoo-playing medium after a specified time.
The timer is not dependent on activities in the program. This means that you can open another medium without deleting the timer.
How to proceed to use the sleep mode:
Open a book of your choice. Swipe to the „More Options“ button and double-tap it. Now look for the Sleep Mode button and double tap. This opens a submenu.
This sub-menu contains the entries for the time setting and for switching the sleep mode on and off. Legantoo offers four times at 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes to set the timer. If you select one of these preset times, the sleep mode will automatically switch on and the playback will end after the set time.
Please note that although the sleep mode stops playing the media, it does not close Legantoo itself or shutting down your mobile device.
But it is also possible to set your own desired time for the end of the playback in addition to the four times specified by Legantoo. To do this, look for the menu item „Other time“ in the submenu of the sleep mode and double-tap on it.
It opens a window with the current time, which you can customize to your liking. Double-tap one of the input fields, then the virtual keyboard of your mobile device will automatically open and you can enter the numerical values for the time in hours and minutes in the respective input field. Alternatively, there are buttons above and below the respective input field, which you can use to increase or decrease the numerical values. To confirm the time, find the „OK“ button and double-tap.
Please note that Legantoo takes over the time of your mobile device. If this is not set correctly, the timer you set will also be incorrect.
If you would like to delete or end the timer in advance, then navigate to the menu item „Sleep mode“ in the „Additional options“. In the submenu that opens, double-tap the button labeled „Off“. This ends the timer and Legantoo stops playback automatically.
Please note that the menu item „Off“ is greyed out and therefore not available if you have not set a timer.
